For less active kids, there are mental challenges too. There’s a mystifying maze to work out. It’s a hard one, so you may even want to help out. If you don’t fancy it though, you can collect a set of clues for your child from one of the playground supervisors. After getting to the centre, there’s an alternate way out for that extra challenge for the most ambitious of kids. After that, they can go over to the playhouses. There are three playhouses, each for a different age group. For younger kids, a tea party with toys and teddies is the best way for them to chill out and interact with each other. Older kids might prefer to look at the jigsaws and interactive wall puzzles in the other playhouses. They are the perfect place for your children to meet other children and make great friends and even greater memories.

If they’re feeling really chilled out, then they can hang out in the massive sandpit in the West corner of the playground. Buckets and spades are provided, so they can build the sandcastle of their dreams. Obviously, the whole playground is supervised by staff, but the flooring in the whole area is cushioned, especially around the jungle gym, the swings and the towers. You needn’t worry that your child is going to get hurt, but if they get a little cut or a scrape, there’s a first aid area with a qualified member of staff.
